Offshore Screening Packages

Offshore work involves roles with varying physical and psychological demands, from sheltered positions to highly exposed, physically demanding tasks.

Due to limited access to onshore medical facilities, offshore workers must maintain a high level of physical and mental fitness to ensure safety during routine operations and emergencies. Fitness-to-work assessments are specialized evaluations that require knowledge of general and occupational health, as well as the offshore environment, and must be conducted by an Approved Medical Examiner (AME).

All offshore personnel are required to undergo a medical examination before deployment and every two years thereafter, or more frequently if clinically indicated. Assessments are completed using the relevant Offshore Medical Assessment forms (PETRONAS, Shell, or OEUK) and certified by the AME.
